This Privacy Policy explains how CozyNuzzy ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit cozynuzzy.com or make a purchase. CozyNuzzy is operated by Faisal Arshad Mukhtar, trading as CozyNuzzy, based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (if provided), order details, any messages you send us, and any photos you choose to send us for our #CozyNuzzyCats wall.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store your full card or bank account details.
  • Information collected automatically: your device and browser type, IP address, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and how you use our store. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

  • To process, ship, and support your orders, including returns and refunds
  • To communicate with you about your orders and answer your questions
  • To send marketing emails if you opt in (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email)
  • To show you relevant ads and measure how our ads perform
  • To feature photos you choose to send us on our #CozyNuzzyCats wall and social pages, where anyone can see them. We credit only your cat's name and remove any photo on request.
  • To prevent fraud and keep our store secure
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers that help us run our store:

  • Shopify: our e-commerce platform and website host, which also sends our order and marketing emails
  • PayPal: payment processing
  • CJdropshipping and other fulfillment partners: to pack and ship your order (they receive your name, address, and phone number)
  • USPS and other shipping carriers: to deliver your order
  • Shopify Collabs: runs our creator program and tracks purchases made through creators' referral links. If you apply to become a CozyNuzzy creator, we receive the details you submit.
  • Judge.me: product reviews
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. We share your activity on our store, such as pages viewed, cart and checkout actions, and purchases, along with your name, email address, phone number, and address, so Meta can match you to your Facebook or Instagram account, measure our ads, and show you relevant ads.
  • Google (including YouTube) and Pinterest: advertising and measurement tools. We share your activity on our store, such as pages viewed, cart and checkout actions, and purchases, so they can measure our ads and show you relevant ads.
  • Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising: site analytics, including heatmaps and session replays of how visitors use our store

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, customers, or store.

Advertising and your choices

Site analytics

We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our store through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay, so we can improve and market our products. This usage data is collected with first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies. We use it to understand which products are popular, to improve the site, to prevent fraud and keep the store secure, and for advertising. Where your information is processed

Our service providers are located in the United States and other countries, including China, where our fulfillment partner is based, and India, where our store is operated. Your information may be transferred to and processed in these countries.

How long we keep information

We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed for fulfillment, accounting, tax, and legal purposes, generally up to 7 years. We keep marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep cat wall photos until you ask us to remove them or we retire them from the wall.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email privacy@cozynuzzy.com. We'll verify your identity and respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Children

Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
